The Genevois area, bearing a bond between the French region of Haute Savoie and the city of Geneva Switzerland, is quite characteristic in more than one aspect. One of them, a meteorologic one oftenly called "the lid" or "the ceiling", is a sort of more or less thick layer of clouds, covering the border region between Geneva and the neighbouring France. This phenomenon is happening during the fall and winter season, in a more or less intense way depending on the years. In 2017, it has occured during several weeks, with a wide white-grey thickness covering the whole landscapes. To pull away form these wintry confinement sensations, it take a little ride toward higher altitudes. The road goes gradually through a more and more luminous fog, almost unbearable, and emerge finally on a spectacular flying sensation above the clouds covering the valley. The photographics series inspired by this fog are testifying, of this "visual relief" experience we can have when emerging above the clouds...
