The Bains des Pâquis have existed in Geneva since 1872. They are one of the favorite places of Genevans and all those who pass through this very particular city-state. The "Pâquis" almost disappeared during the 1980s, but the tenacity of the Genevans and their attachment to this place got the better of the speculative projects developed then. Today, it is a magical place, which brings together an ever-diverse audience, and in which many artistic events are organized at any time of the day and at any time of the year. Coralie Sanson spent long hours at the Bains des Pâquis, swimming, reading, nibbling at the refreshment bar, and above all taking pictures. She chose here a series of images that she took very early in the morning, as soon as the refreshment bar opened. The sunrise over the bay of Geneva, associated with the soft and sleepy atmosphere of the moment, make it to her a place that she will never tire of photographing.
